What hours is Speedel available?

We operate 24/7 and are available whenever you require our services.

How can I book?

You can make bookings over the phone and online, either with a Speedel account or by telephone. For account queries please contact us at sales@speedel.co.uk.

What can I deliver using Speedel?

We’ll deliver pretty much anything and everything providing its legal – with a few obvious exceptions:

  • Live animals
  • Hazardous materials (e.g. explosives, radioactive substances, etc)
  • Dangerous items (e.g. guns, knives, etc)

Are there any additional charges?

Yes, additional charges may be incurred in the following circumstances,

  • Your courier is required to wait more than 15 minutes at either the point of collection or point of delivery without prior instruction
  • Your courier is required to collect from or deliver to a different address to what was specified at the time of booking.
  • Your courier is required to do additional duties above and beyond delivery to the door of the delivery address.

Is my delivery insured?

Your delivery is insured up to the maximum amount detailed in our terms and conditions.

Will I get proof of delivery?

With each delivery, you will get a notification by email and/or SMS as well as electronic proof of delivery via your tracking number.

Can I track my order?

Yes, you can track all your deliveries via your parcel tracking number or by signing into your Speedel account.

Are you open and available 24/7 and 365 days a year?

Yes, we operate 24 hours, 7 days a week and 365 days a year, including all public holidays.

Do couriers have a uniform and safety wear as standard?

Yes, our couriers are uniformed and wear hi-vis jackets as standard.

Do you leave items in your vehicles overnight?

No, your items are as important to us as they are to you and are not left in vehicles overnight.

Do you charge for residential deliveries?

For our Sameday services we do not charge for residential deliveries. However, for our on-Board service we may apply a charge for residential addresses. Residential is defined as a location which is not accessible to the public.

Do you have a fuel surcharge?

Yes, we have introduced a variable fuel surcharge for some of our Sameday services.
